CEFR Alignment Study Phase 1 Report

The alignment study attemps to map the WSI assessment levels onto the BULATS (Computer) levels as the basis for the alignment of CEFR levels, which is the aim of the study. The study will be divided into two phases. Phase One focuses on aligning WSI’s Progression Ladder levels with BULATS levels; Phase Two will match WSI’s curriculum and the CEFR Can-Do statements.

This is an important undertaking for WSI in that it provides proof that the WSI learning system is well grounded in one of the most prestigious language proficiency scales in the world. The CEFR levels were, in fact, referenced by WSI’s course developers.
